Recently, VL OMNI had the chance to attend a private event of Amazon Fulfillment Tour - Focusing on Smart Supply Chain and Logistics

This rare experience allowed the VL OMNI team to delve deep into the inner workings of Amazon’s Fulfilment Center.

Among the staggering statistics presented during the tour was the sheer scale of Amazon's operations, boasting a staggering 400 million SKUs at a single location. What caught our attention even more was their advanced utilization of machine learning for order routing, a testament to the cutting-edge technologies driving efficiency at Amazon

One of the interesting aspects for us was the role of Data Integration (of course!) where Amazon showcased they are world-class in isolating critical data points and leveraging machine learning algorithms to optimize decision-making processes. It was emphasized that this level of data-driven intelligence is achievable AI and machine learning, which will become pivotal in the future for all.

And guess what? A whopping 60% of Amazon's space is all about Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) services. That's a huge nod to all the third-party sellers out there rocking the eCommerce world.

Exciting times lie ahead as we unravel the possibilities unlocked by technologies and innovative strategies in logistics.
